We being a democratic Country have accepted parliamentary form of Government under our constitution of India. Under the provision of constitution and representation of Peoples Act 1950 and 1951, conducted for the post of President, Vice President Parliamentary Constituency, Legislative assembly constituency normally at every 5 years.

Main Aims and Objectives of establishing District Election Office is to conduct election of Lok sabha, Rajya Sabha and State Legislative Assembly Constituencies. Also election of member of legislative councils from teacher constituency, Graduate constituency and local bodies constituencies.
